FOR TWELVE YEARS NOW the petting zoo has been a big hit to both young and young at heart and locals and tourists alike.
The petting zoo is located right off of west Main Rd and offers a great view of the whole farm. You will be able to see all of the dairy goats along with the Tennessee Fainting Goats (they really faint!). In the winter and early spring you can see all of the different breeds of sheep, they move out to greener pastures for the summer. You will find our dairy cows Ruthie, Olive and Emma who can reach out the farthest for the feed. The ducks, geese and calves are always a present choir singing to our guests. We round out our Petting Zoo with Strawberry Shortcake, the Shetland pony and Jake, the girl donkey.
The petting zoo and farm stand is open weekdays 3-6pm, closed Wednesdays open Saturdays and Sundays 12-6pm. Kid cones filled with feed for feeding your friends are available in the stand, cones are $1.00 each.
NOTE: Please do not bring outside feed for the animals. The wrong foods can cause them harm.
