FOR 12 YEARS NOW the petting zoo has been a big hit to both young and young at heart and locals and tourists alike.
The petting zoo is located right off of West Main Rd and offers a great view of the whole farm. You will be able to see all of the dairy goats along with the Tennessee Fainting Goats (they really faint!). In the winter and early spring you can see all of the different breeds of sheep, they move out to greener pastures for the summer. You will find our dairy cows Ruthie and Becca who can reach out the farthest for the feed. The ducks, geese and calves are always a present choir singing to our guests. We round out our Petting Zoo with Strawberry Shortcake, the Shetland pony and Jake, the girl donkey.
Our Winter hours (Nov. – May) for the Farm Stand and Petting Zoo: Sunday, 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm; Monday and Friday, 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Grain-filled kid cones to feed your animal friends are available in the Farm Stand and cost $1.00 each.
Starting March 26, on Sundays from 3pm to 5pm stop by farm to play, hold, and pet the baby goats! Rain or shine, $5 a person.
NOTE: Please do not bring outside food to feed our animals, the wrong foods will cause them harm.
