FOR EIGHT YEARS NOW the petting zoo has been a big hit to both young and young at heart and locals and tourists alike.
The petting zoo is located right off of west Main Rd and offers a great view of the whole farm. You will be able to see all of the dairy goats along with the Tennessee Fainting Goats (they really faint!). In the winter and early spring you can see all of the different breeds of sheep, they move out to greener pastures for the summer. You will find our dairy cows Ruthie and Olive who can reach out the farthest for the feed and Willow, the pot bellied pig. The ducks, geese and calves are always a present choir singing to our guests. We round out our Petting Zoo with Strawberry Shortcake, the Shetland pony.
Who knows, maybe a few more surprise residents when you come to visit. The petting zoo is open daily sun-up till sun-down and has a self serve grain bin with cups for feeding your friends, so bring your quarters, feed is 50 cents per cup.
NOTE: Please do not bring outside feed for the animals, they are on a strictly organic diet.
